Yilan

Yilan is a Chinese actress who grew up in Beijing. She has two years of acting experience in Beijing after completing an acting course at the Beijing Film Academy(2017-2020)

and she is currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Acting and Performance at the University of Creative Arts. She was influenced significantly by the Shakespeare course and professional development. Her interest in English literature grew as a result of the Shakespeare course. During her studies at UCA, her tutors were Ruth Torr (https://www.uca.ac.uk/about-us/our-staff/ruth-torr/) and Dr.Sian Rees (https://www.uca.ac.uk/about-us/our-staff/sian-rees/) who helped her a lot in her studies abroad. She experienced various British cultures as a result of this training. Professional Development allowed her to have a better understanding of the British acting industry and develop her own monologue work in response to casting calls. She encountered specialists from several departments in the acting industry throughout this course. For example, Yilan obtained an in-depth grasp of the varied casting approaches in the UK and China through his interactions with casting directors and writers.Yilan's varied study life has given her a wide range of perspectives and understandings of life, which she uses to her performance. Her English skill has substantially increased after two years of education in the United Kingdom, and she can now manage English lines with ease, she wants to be able to work in the acting industry in the United Kingdom after graduation.
